Downtown Alliance
Things really are great when you go downtown, and Downtown Alliance helps keep it that way. Downtown Alliance is a Salt Lake City non-profit dedicated to making Salt Lake City’s downtown a hub for arts, culture, commerce, and entertainment. I worked with 8th Grade English to prepare some of Downtown Alliance’s reports for the years 2024 and 2025.
Downtown Economic Benchmark Report 2025
The 2025 Benchmark report contains a ton of data relevant to business owners and investors in the downtown area or interested in coming to the downtown area. With such a treasure-trove of information to use I got to make some really great maps and infographics. Below are some of the key spreads to give you a good idea of the work Downtown Alliance, 8th Grade English, and myself put into this report.
Downtown SLC Vitality 2024 Report
Similar to the 2025 Benchmark report the 2024 report to the community provided data to downtown residents and business owners about the health of the downtown Salt Lake City economy. The Downtown SLC Vitality report has more of a focus on celebrating the successes of the Downtown Farmers Market, the Downtown Alliance Street Ambassadors, and of the arts and entertainment in downtown Salt Lake City. Below are some key spreads highlighting these successes.
Downtown SLC Economic Benchmark Report: August 2024
The August 2024 report was a special edition done for a meeting with Downtown Salt Lake City business leaders. The data presented in the brochure was a condensed version of the full report. This provided business leaders with a quick overview of how downtown Salt Lake City was performing as an economic driver and entertainment destination. The graphics and infographics had to be easy to read but also information dense to make use of the limited space.
